The KEA Awards!

You complete the application form here. We will notify you about the result towards the end of 2023.
They are awards for educators who promote innovative, critical and learner-centered approaches to education.
If you're shortlisted, you will be invited to the KEA Awards Forum to present your educational project. If you win, you will receive 1000 euro.
Yes, but you need to fill in different applications and pay the 30 euro fee.
The process is double blind, so we do not announce the committee members' names and they do not know your names. Committee members are Glossomatheia team members and partners, with academic credentials and experience in the criteria for the awards.
It will help you reflect on your own practices, network with like-minded colleagues and get visibility as a different educator, a...KEA bird!

The Kea Awards run annually. There are 4 award categories. Each participant is allowed to enter only one. The judging committee consists of Glossomatheia educators and partners. The 4 awards are monetary from the Angelos Davos Innovation Fund.

Criteria:

- Are you a university student of any level?
- Are you a teacher, piloting a new project?
- Are you a teacher undertaking action research?

Are you in other words, a Kea bird* in the forest? If you are any of the above and at the same time you have written an article, designed a project or a research study that promotes a learner-centered, innovative, holistic and critical approach to language education, submit your proposal for an award.

By paying the fee you agree to the terms and conditions of the contest. You are also entitled to take part in the Kea Awards Forum.

All participants that are qualified for an award will be invited to the Kea Awards Forum to present their work. Results will be announced at the Forum.

Recipients of the award need to demonstrate that their work is in accordance with the values, principles and ethos of Glossomatheia Language Learning and Research Center and its programs Deeper Learning & Inquiring Minds. In other words, the awards are meant for academic or applied work that promotes human rights, children rights and learner-centered approaches.
